Bird Ringing at Nereta, Latvia – 2020 / All Data on Trektellen.org

Further on weekends and vacations I would be ringing birds on a regular basis from the middle of April till the end of November at Nereta, Central part of southern Latvia, map here. Surroundings – woods, meadows, bushes, some small swamps, some gardens, in some places agrarian environment. Ringing area biotope – meadow (on a agricultural land), tree and bush clump (oriented toward S to N), border of a forest, small pond, fruit tree garden.

The equipment I am using for the ringing – 6 mist nets for small and middle passerines (total lenght – 60 m, height – 2,5 m, 5 shelves) and somtimes 1 mist net for owls in spring and autumn migration (lenght – 15 m, height – 3 m, 4 shelves).

2019. gadā Latvijā nav konstatēta neviena jauna putnu suga

2019. gads Latvijā jaunu putnu sugu ziņā bija tukšs – visa gada garumā Latvijā netika konstatēta neviena jauna putnu suga. Tikpat neauglīgi jaunu putnu sugu ziņā bija arī 2018. un 2017. gads. Šobrīd Latvijas putnu sarakstā ir 368. putnu sugas.

Savukārt 2016. gadā Latvija tika konstatētas 3 jaunas putnu sugas, 2015. – 2, 2014. gadā – 1, bet 2013. gadā – 5.
